Polynésie, sur les traces de mon papa...
On my dad's steps...
15 days in paradise, don't have to tell you much, just have a look at the pictures, clear warm water, tropical fishes everywhere, huge surf, exhausting walks, yummy fruits and red tuna...We stayed just in two of the hundreds of islands of Polynesia...Moorea and Tahiti, the main one.
We were lucky as we missed a hurricane and the islands were still a bit messy...but the tahitians love gardening so it was hard to notice that...maybe all the trees lying down were still visible...
AND, we went down to TEAHUPOO, one of the spot for the ASP tour, (profesionnal surfers) and the swell was HUGE...they did not have such conditions for 2 years...it is still in our mind!
My father did his « army school » in Tahiti...in 1974, so it was special for me to be there...trying to go where he was...
15 jours au paradis, on n'a pas grand chose à vous dire, regardez les photos, eau chaude cristalline, poissons tropicaux partout, surf énorme, randonnées transpirantes, fruits et poissons locaux appétissants...Je pourrais bosser pour l'office du tourisme...
Nous sommes restés que sur 2 îles sur les centaines de Polynésie...Mooréa et Tahiti, la principale.
Nous avons été chanceux, nous avons évité de peu un ouragan et deux alertes tsunamis...les dégâts étaient à peine visibles, les tahitiens adorent tellement 
entretenir leurs jardins...
ET, nous sommes allé à TEAHUPOO, un de spots du circuit ASP des surfeurs pros. La houle était ENORME, les conditions n'avaient pas été si grosses depuis 2 ans...le bruit, la vitesse...tous çà est encore dans nos esprits...
Mon papa avait fait son service militaire en 1974 à Tahiti, pendant 1 an...C'était forcément spécial pour moi d'être ici...d'essayer d'aller aux mêmes endroits...
